On June 4th, 2018, Motorola launched its latest G series smartphones in India. The two new phones in the series are MOTO G6 and G6 Play. These are mid-range smartphones where players like VIVO, XIAOMI and APPO substantial market share. The company aim with the Moto G line is to bring those features you would normally expect on high-end phones to a cheaper handset. The Moto G6 smartphone will be exclusively sold on Amazon and Moto G6 play will be sold on Flipkart in India. Moto G6 has a starting price of Rs 13,999 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage version. The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant will cost Rs 15,999 in India. Moto G6 Play will cost Rs 11,999 in India for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant. The Gorilla Glass outer layer is surely more slippery and prone to picking up fingerprints, but its curves also shimmer in the light and feel more substantial, making the new Moto series much more attractive and premium-looking than their predecessors.
