The Node Nano, priced at $299, marks Bluesound's most affordable entry into the streaming market. Compact yet powerful, the Nano features an unnamed Sabre DAC, offering analog output alongside digital coax and optical outputs. It's positioned as an ideal choice for those seeking high-quality streaming at a lower price point.
For audiophiles looking for enhanced performance, the upgraded Node ($549) now comes with an all-new ESS Sabre DAC, improved sound quality, a new headphone amp, and compatibility with Dirac room correction. This update is expected to resonate with Bluesound's dedicated fanbase.
At the top of the lineup is the Node Icon, priced at $999. This flagship model distinguishes itself with a 5-inch display, dual ESS Sabre DACs, and a high-quality aluminum chassis. Unlike most streamers that rely on smartphone apps, the Node Icon’s screen allows users to select and play music directly from the unit. Despite lacking touchscreen capabilities, it offers balanced XLR outputs and supports high-resolution DSD playback, positioning it as a strong competitor against industry leaders like the EverSolo DMP-A6 and Cambridge Audio CXN100.
All three models support popular streaming services such as Amazon Music, Tidal, and Spotify, in addition to Apple AirPlay 2 and aptX adaptive Bluetooth.
The Node Nano is available starting today. The Node is available for pre-order and will ship globally on September 24. The Node Icon will be released in November.
