OnePlus is bringing three new devices to global markets this December, including a budget-friendly smartphone, a new tablet and an affordable smartwatch.
Just ahead of the holiday season, Chinese electronics brand OnePlus has officially announced the launch of three new products: the OnePlus 15R smartphone, OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet, and OnePlus Watch Lite. According to the company, all three devices will be available starting December 17 in North America, Europe and India.
Founded in 2013, OnePlus built its reputation on offering high-performance devices at competitive prices — often earning the title of “flagship killer.” Although its market share in the US remains below 1%, the company continues to focus on delivering premium features at more accessible price points, especially in global markets.
OnePlus 15R: Budget-Friendly But DurableThe OnePlus 15R is expected to be a more affordable version of the flagship OnePlus 15 while maintaining impressive durability standards. The phone will be offered in two color options: Charcoal Black and Mint Breeze.
In terms of durability, OnePlus claims that the 15R carries IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, meaning it is highly resistant to dust and water — a feature typically reserved for premium devices. According to well-known tech tipster Debayan Roy, the phone is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, putting strong performance at a mid-range price point.
Popular tech YouTuber Austin Evans, who has closely followed OnePlus’ journey over the years, believes the new 15 series represents a return to form for the company. While earlier models were known for offering unbeatable value, recent years saw OnePlus pushing into a more expensive flagship territory. However, Evans shared that the 15 and 15R models appear to strike a better balance, offering a near-flagship experience at a reasonable price.
OnePlus Pad Go 2: Mid-Range Tablet With 5G and StylusAlongside the smartphone, OnePlus will also launch the Pad Go 2, a new mid-range 5G-enabled tablet. The tablet will be available in Shadow Black and Lavender Drift, and will feature an anti-glare glass finish designed to reduce reflections and improve visibility outdoors.
The Pad Go 2 introduces two important firsts for the company:
- Built-in 5G connectivity (on the black variant)
- OnePlus’ first-ever stylus support
This follows positive feedback for OnePlus’ previous tablet, the Pad 3, which was praised for its solid performance and design.
OnePlus Watch Lite: Affordable With Premium Health FeaturesCompleting the trio is the OnePlus Watch Lite, created to bring essential health and fitness features to a more budget-friendly device. It will be available in a Silver Steel finish.
Previously, OnePlus impressed reviewers with the Watch 3, which boasted the best battery life among Android smartwatches. The Watch Lite aims to carry that same reliability into a more accessible price range, making it an attractive option for fitness-focused users.
Holiday Launch StrategyWith a December 17 release date, OnePlus is clearly positioning these devices as holiday-season purchases, targeting users looking for high-value tech gifts or affordable upgrades.
More details on pricing and regional availability are expected to be revealed closer to the official release date.
