Similarly, Google's YouTube has mandated disclosure of AI-manipulated videos, while OpenAI has committed to adding AI-identification data to all images generated using its systems.

The response from users to these labelling initiatives has been largely positive, with a recent study cited by Meta indicating strong support for labels on AI-generated content depicting people saying things they did not actually say.
