Las Vegas, CES 2026 — Smart rings have traditionally focused on health and fitness tracking, but a new device showcased at CES 2026 is pushing the category into the workplace. The Vocci AI smart ring is designed to act as a personal assistant for professionals by recording, transcribing and summarizing meetings — all from a tiny titanium ring.
At first glance, the Vocci ring looks similar to popular wellness rings like Oura. Made from aerospace-grade titanium, the ring measures just 2.8mm thick and 6.8mm wide, making it lightweight and discreet for everyday use. However, instead of tracking sleep or heart rate, its main function is productivity.
How the Vocci AI Ring WorksUnlike always-on smart devices, the Vocci ring only records when the user manually presses a small button on the side of the ring. Once activated, it captures audio during meetings or conversations and automatically generates a transcript when recording ends.
Users can also tap the button during a meeting to highlight important moments. These flagged sections appear in red in the transcript, along with AI-generated insights and summaries to help users quickly revisit key points. The system supports more than 100 languages, making it useful for global teams and multilingual environments.
The ring can store up to eight hours of recording time on a single charge, which is enough for a full workday of meetings. Since it is meant to be used mainly during office hours, users can recharge it overnight without missing critical data.
Cloud Storage and Privacy ConsiderationsAll recordings are saved securely in the cloud, allowing users to access transcripts and insights across devices. However, Vocci recommends avoiding the ring during sensitive or confidential discussions, as cloud storage may raise privacy concerns depending on workplace policies.
A Growing Trend of AI WearablesThe Vocci ring is part of a broader trend of AI-powered hardware showcased at CES 2026, including AI toys, assistants and companion devices. While products like the Rabbit R1 and AI pendants have appeared in previous years, improved software and focused use cases are making these devices more practical and useful.
By targeting professional productivity rather than personal wellness, Vocci is positioning its smart ring as a new category of wearable technology.
AvailabilityThe Vocci AI smart ring will be available for preorder in February, with the first shipments expected in April 2026. Pricing has not yet been announced.
As AI continues to move beyond phones and laptops into wearable devices, tools like the Vocci ring highlight how technology is becoming more integrated into everyday work life.
